On July 31st, Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will make its debut. The company has been sharing teasers of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus ahead of its release, giving us a glimpse of what to expect. A new teaser reveals that the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will be powered by an unreleased SoC.
In a recent X post, Nothing’s co-founder Akis Evangelidis teased that the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus would pack an unreleased SoC. The Phone (2a) Plus will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC instead of the Dimensity 7200 Pro.
As well as a faster clock speed of 3GHz compared to 2.8GHz in the 7200, it also has a faster Mali-G610 MC4 GPU clocked at 1.3GHz, which is 30% faster than the GPU in the 7200 Pro.
Both front and rear cameras can record 4K video, and HDR images and HDR10+ playback are supported. According to the company, the device supports Dual 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6.
It still has 12GB of RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. Before the phone goes official next Wednesday, we should know more details. Nothing.tech will stream the event online.
