On July 29th, Xiaomi will launch its budget-friendly Redmi Pad SE 8.7 tablet in India. In previous leaks, Sudhanshu Ambhore revealed the tablet’s design and specifications. The tablet’s specifications have been leaked once again.
Redmi Pad SE 8.7:
Xiaomi’s new Redmi Pad SE 8.7 comes with an 8.7-inch LCD panel that supports 1340 × 800 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 90Hz. It features a brightness of 400 nits and a 10-bit colour depth.
It is powered by the Helio G99 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128 GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory. There is an 8MP camera on the back with autofocus & 5MP selfie shooter.
The tab packs a 6650 mAh battery on the Redmi Pad SE 8.7, which should last for at least a day. The device comes with 18W charging support. It weighs 373 grams and is 8.8 millimetres thick. Redmi Pad SE 8.7 also gets dual-frequency Wi-Fi, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.3.
The audio is played back by four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. Android 14 is used in the tablet version with an adapted HyperOS interface. Face unlock will be supported instead of a fingerprint scanner on the Redmi Pad SE 8.7. Other features will include a virtual ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a hall sensor, and support for the Redmi Stylus for Pad.
Pricing:
Upon launch, the 4GB+128GB Wi-Fi is expected to cost EUR 169 (Rs.15,500/-).
