A new smartphone in Samsung’s Galaxy M series will be launched soon. Before its launch, we spotted the Samsung Galaxy M55s on Geekbench.
An upcoming Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-M558B is listed on Geekbench. Previously, the Galaxy M55s’ model number had been spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance certifications.
It reveals that the device scored 1003 points in a single-core test and 2309 points in a multi-core test. In addition to its octa-core SoC, Taro motherboard, Walt governor, and 8GB of RAM, it will run Android 14.
As reported by the database, the octa-core SoC has a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz, coupled with an Adreno 644 GPU. Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is confirmed to be the processor Samsung will use in the smartphone.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 features four Cortex A710 cores and four Cortex A510 cores. According to the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, it supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
The certification for the upcoming Galaxy M55s handset reveals no other specifications. Stay tuned for Samsung’s announcement of the smartphone’s launch in the coming weeks.
