According to rumours, HMD Global is working on a Nokia Lumia 920-inspired phone. An upcoming listing from a Belgian retailer appears to give us our best look yet at the HMD Skyline.

Design:

The leaked image shows a design heavily influenced by Nokia’s Lumia series. With its boxy design and noticeable bezels, the phone is reminiscent of the design language used by the Lumia Fabula devices.

A rectangular camera module with three lenses and an LED flash is mounted on the back panel. It can be seen in pink, and the tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has also revealed its black version – so the phone will come in two colours.

Specs:

HMD Skyline will sport an OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB of storage.

The device features a 108MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. Within the punch-hole cutout is a 50MP camera for selfies. Moreover, it will be dust and splash-resistant, with an IP67 rating. It’s powered by a 4900mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.

Rumours suggest that the HMD Skyline will also have an under-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.

The HMD Skyline is estimated to cost €520 for a variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. HMD has yet to confirm the launch date, but we expect it to take place in July.
