A new Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 book-style foldable smartphone from Honor was announced today. The company’s new flagship foldable smartphone, the Magic V3, has already been discussed.
There’s also the Magic Vs3, which is a cheaper version of the Magic V3. There is also a completely different-looking camera island on the back of the phone. Despite not being as thin and light as the Magic V3, it is still very thin and light.
It measures 156.8 x 145.2 x 4.65-4.8 mm when unfolded. This product measures 156.8 x 74 x 9.8-10.1mm when folded. The Magic Vs3 weighs 229 or 231 grams, depending on the model. Compared to the ‘Tundra Green’ and ‘Qilian Snow’, the ‘Velvet Black’ model is thinner and lighter. This black model has vegan leather on the back, which thins down the phone further and makes it lighter. Glass covers the backs of the other two variants.

Honor Magic Vs3 will sport a 7.92″ QHD+ (2344x2156p) LTPO OLED main screen whereas there is a 6.43″ FHD+ (2376×1060) OLED external screen. Both the display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The device also supports a side-mounted display fingerprint scanner. The outer screen is protected by Honor King Kong giant rhino glass whereas the internal with Glory King Kong flexible armor.
Honor Magic Vs3 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device features triple rear cameras with LED flash.
The Honor Magic Vs3 comes with a 50MP Wide Main Camera with a variable aperture of f/1.4-f/2.0. It is coupled with a 40MP ultra-wide f/2.2 camera. Lastly, there is an 8MP Periscope Telephoto Camera with 5x Optical Zoom, 100x Digital Zoom, and OIS.
Further, the device features dual selfie cameras with a 16MP outer and inner display. It comes with Dual Stereo Speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound effects and IPX8-rated dust & water-resistant.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C port. Both run on Android 14 with the latest HyperOS on top. It packs a massive 5000 mAh battery with 66W fast wired & 50W wireless charging support. The Honor Magic V3 runs on Android 14 with Magic UI 8.0 on top.
