A new Bluetooth tracker from Jio has been launched in India. It is the successor to last year’s JioTag. The latest JioTag Air works with Apple’s Find My network, improving tracking efficiency.
JioTag Air has a keychain-like form factor, similar to Apple AirTag. The device is useful for tracking valuables like bags, keys, wallets, and other easily misplaced belongings. Bluetooth 5.3 allows the tracker to communicate with nearby Android and iOS devices.
Using the JioThings app, you can track the tracker’s location. With JioTag Air, you can now use it on both iOS and Android devices. The tracker’s exact location can be traced more effectively when there are multiple communication points.
The JioTag Air is also equipped with a 120 dB speaker. When a tracker is placed in an area such as a sofa, cupboard, or other similar place, this functionality can be used to pinpoint its location.
Up to two years of battery life are provided by the JioTag Air. It comes in three colours: Red, Black, and Deep Blue. Jio offers a 1-year warranty on its Bluetooth tracker. With dimensions of 3.8 x 3.8 x 0.7cm, it weighs just 10 grams.
Pricing:
JioTag Air costs Rs 2,999 in India. For a limited time, it is available for just Rs 1,499 as an introductory offer. JioMart, Reliance Digital, and Amazon sell the Bluetooth tracker.
