In October, Xiaomi’s 15 and 15 Pro will become the first smartphones to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Even though it is still many months away, both have already been rumoured quite a bit, and some purported specs have surfaced in China.
Xiaomi 15:
The Xiaomi 15 sports a smaller 6.36-inch C8 OLED with 1.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colours, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 2800-nits brightness.
The Xiaomi 15 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Xiaomi 15 features a 50MP f/1.6 aperture 1/ 1.31″ OmniVision OV50H main sensor with Hyper OIS & Leica Summilux lens support. It comes with a 50MP 115° Samsung’s ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide with a f/2.2 aperture along with a 50MP Samsung JN1 telephoto lens with an f/2.0 aperture & OIS.
Again the Xiaomi 15 features the same old 32MP selfie shooter as its predecessor.
The Xiaomi 15 packs a 4900 mAh battery with 100W fast wired & 50W wireless charging support. It also gets 10W reverse wireless charging support. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and USB Type-C 3.2 port with X-axis linear motor. It also gets stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos. It runs on HyperOS with Android 15 OS out of the box. This time the Xiaomi 15 also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
Xiaomi 15 Pro:
The Xiaomi 15 Pro sports a larger 6.73-inch OLED with 2K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colours, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 2800-nits brightness. The device also gets Xiaomi Ceramic Glass protection.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro costs 5499 Yuan (Rs.63,200/-) for 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB at 5299 Yuan (Rs.60,800/-) & 16GB+1TB at 6499 Yuan (Rs.74,800/-).
