A new report claims that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 FE will use the exact same camera as the Galaxy S24, S23, and S23 FE. There will be a 50 MP resolution and a sensor size of 1/1.57″ with 1.0μm pixels. As Samsung loves recycling, this isn’t very surprising, but at least now you know better if you were expecting anything different.
Based on where it is in the development stage, the S24 FE is expected to launch in late fall at the earliest. Maybe select markets will get it by the end of this year, and more markets will get it the following year, essentially emulating what happened with its predecessor.
S24 FE is allegedly codenamed R12 (S23 FE was codenamed R11). The model number is SM-S721. In the coming weeks, we expect to hear much more about the S24 FE since the launch appears to be many months away.
