On June 13th, Oppo will launch its next smartphone in the F series, the F27 Pro+ 5G. It will be the first smartphone in the country to have IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings, MIL-STD-810H ratings for military-grade durability, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for the display.
Additionally, it has Swiss SGS Premium Performance 5 Stars Drop Resistance. In May, OPPO India conducted a dipstick on Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. According to their survey, 42% of 6000+ respondents need a waterproof smartphone during the monsoons, 30% want a waterproof phone for swimming or beach use, 19% want drop-proof protection in case of clumsiness, while 9% value scratch-proof toughened glass to carry coins and keys.
There will be two color options of the phone, Midnight Navy and Dusk Pink. The back of the phone features a Cosmos Ring design, and the display has a 3D Curved AMOLED technology. To improve stain resistance and to enable customers to use the phone case-free, OPPO coated the leather back with siloxane.
In addition to its 7.89mm slim profile and 177g weight, the smartphone’s circular camera module adopts a centrally symmetrical layout that offers a comfortable in-hand feel.
According to the specifications, we can expect a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved OLED screen, Dimensity 7050 SoC, 64MP rear camera, 2MP depth sensor and a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
