Samsung Galaxy Watch FE from the inside and out has been revealed in a major leak. Our first look at the upcoming smartwatch and its key specifications is finally here.
Sudhanshu Ambhore shared the news via X (formerly Twitter). Galaxy Watch FE images were shared from various angles, revealing the circular display and silicon straps. Additionally, the wearable comes in three color options: light blue, light pink, and black. An overview of the upcoming smartwatch’s key specifications was revealed by Ambhore.
Galaxy Watch FE:
The new Galaxy Watch FE with 40/42 mm size sports 1.2″ SuperAMOLED display with a resolution of 396×396 pixels. It is protected by Gorilla Glass DX on top.
The new Galaxy Watch FE is powered by the Samsung Exynos W920 SoC coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage. Further, the device also gets IP68, 5ATM certified making it dust & water-resistant along with MIL-STD 810G.
The other features include heart rate, blood oxygen content and an electrocardiogram (EKG). Further, the Galaxy Watch FE also comes with sleep tracking, fall detection, forecasts and recordings for the menstrual cycle and the tracking of over 40 sports activities. Not just that, the new Galaxy Watch FE will also include body composition analysis within 15s which is nothing but detecting body fat.
The connectivity options include WLAN 2.4 + 5.0 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo. Both the Galaxy Watch FE runs on the new Android Wear OS with One UI Watch 3.5 on top. The Galaxy Watch FE with 40/42mm model packs 247 mAh battery.
