The OnePlus Ace 3 lineup currently includes two models: the Ace 3 and the Ace 3V. In recent weeks, however, rumors have circulated about the addition of a Pro variant. We have a new tidbit on the upcoming phone, thanks to reliable leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS).

OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will have a dual-cell battery, each with a capacity of 2970mAh, giving it a total of 5940mAh.

According to DCS, the typical capacity is likely to be 6100mAh. On the basis of how battery capacity is normally measured in the industry, that is likely to be a marketing decision. This would make the Ace 3 Pro the largest battery on the OnePlus phone.

According to DCS, the Ace 3 Pro will sport an OLED display with 1.5K resolution. According to rumors, the chipset under the hood will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, along with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It is also possible that there will be a 24GB variant of the LPDDR5x RAM.

OnePlus Ace 3 / 12R is rumored to have the same Sony IMX890 50-megapixel primary sensor. Furthermore, the Ace 3 Pro has a metal frame on the side and a glass panel on the back. The phone is also expected to be designed differently than existing OnePlus flagships, according to DCS.
