Recent reports suggest that Vivo is gearing up to introduce the Vivo X100s series of smartphones in China later this month. Following the unveiling of the Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X100s designs in a poster on Weibo, new images have surfaced, offering a closer glimpse into the design of the X100s model.

Following its November 2023 debut, the Vivo X100 featured a curved-edge OLED panel. However, rumors surrounding the X100s suggest a departure with a flat display, corroborated by the initial image leaks.

The purported X100s showcases flat edges and retains its signature round camera deco. Internally, three cameras and a Zeiss logo adorn the device, with a vertically positioned LED flash at the top-right corner of the back panel.

Come May 7, MediaTek plans to introduce the Dimensity 9300 Plus chip at the MediaTek Dimensity Developers Conference (MDDC) in China. This overclocked version of the Dimensity 9300, found in the Vivo X100 and X100, is anticipated to power the upcoming X100s series.

Speculation abounds that alongside the Vivo X100s, Vivo might unveil the Vivo X100s Pro, marking the debut of both phones with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. While major upgrades are expected to include the new chipset and flat screen, other specifications are likely to be inherited from the X100 and X100 Pro models, as per reports.
