Samsung has just announced the launch of the Galaxy F55 in India. According to reports, it’s the Indian version of the China-exclusive Galaxy C55, not the rebranded Galaxy M55.
As with the C55, the back cover of the smartphone has a stitched design made of vegan leather. Like the C55, the teaser reveals an Orange color option, but we expect a Black variant as well. In terms of specs, no changes will be made on the Galaxy M55 or C55.
Further, the popular tipster revealed that Galaxy F55 will launch in India on May 9.
Retail pricing for the base 8/128GB variant will be Rs 26,999. It will retail for Rs 29,999 for the mid-tier 8/256GB model and Rs 32,999 for the top-end 12/256GB model. In the Indian market, the prices are similar to those of the Galaxy M55 5G.
We can expect the F55 5G to share most specifications with the M55 5G due to its rebranding.

The Galaxy F55 5G sports a larger 6.7 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with 120Hz refresh rates. It comes with optical in-display fingerprint scanner support with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The Galaxy F55 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and a 256GB storage option. There is also an option to expand the memory through a microSD card slot.
The new Galaxy F55 5G will feature triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture with OIS, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device comes with a 50MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. With features like Nightography, Dual recording, and OIS and VDIS, you can record stable videos in 4K.
The Galaxy F55 5G will ship with the larger 5000 mAh battery but comes with 45W fast charge support. The device weighs just 180g & measures 7.8mm thick.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy F55 5G runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top. There will be five generations of operating system updates and five years of security updates.
