Alcatel has finally unveiled the world’s first Android Go OS based smartphone with Alcatel 1X at MWC 2018.The Alcatel 1X is the cheapest smartphone among the Alcatel smartphone range and is priced at 100 Euros (Rs.7960/-) for single SIM and 110 Euros (Rs.8760/-).

The Alcatel 1X sports 5.3 inches new 18:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 480*960p.It is powered by MediaTek MT6580 SoC coupled with 1GB/2GB RAM based on regions but will have same internal storage with 16GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

The Alcatel 1X features 13MP or 8MP rear camera with LED flash depending upon region.The 8MP rear camera can increase the megapixel count to 13MP via software whereas the 13MP to 16MP.It is having 5MP with LED flash selfie shooter which can take images up to 8MP via software.The rear camera can shoot videos up to 1080p and has support for EIS.

The Alcatel 1X is fueled by lower 2460 mAh battery and runs on a lighter version of Android with Android Oreo Go OS aka Android 8.1 out of the box.The Alcatel 1X also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face Key depending upon regions.

Alcatel 1X will be available from April onwards in three colours: Metal Black, Blue and Gold.
