According to reports, Redmi is currently working on the Redmi 13 5G, which will launch in Q4 2023. Its model numbers and chipset have been revealed in a recent report. On Weibo, a new leak revealed the device’s battery size and charging capabilities.
As you may recall, the Redmi 12 5G came with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. The Redmi 13 5G is expected to use the same chip. It is reported that the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. Last year, the Redmi 12 5G had the same battery, but a slower charging speed of 18W.
According to reports, the codename for the Redmi 13 5G is “Breeze”. There is a Chinese variant of the device with the 2406ERN9CC model number. The 2406ERN9CI model number identifies the Indian edition.
India is reportedly on the verge of receiving another variant with the model number 24066PC95I. It is likely that this device will come with the “Poco M7 5G” moniker. Redmi 13 5G and Poco M7 5G are expected to come preloaded with HyperOS-based Android 14. We still don’t know the details of these devices.
