In India and other global markets, HMD will launch its own-branded smartphones. @OnLeaks has posted renders of the Pulse series of smartphones, which are due to be unveiled soon. The HMD Pulse series includes HMD Pulse and HMD Pulse Pro. It appears the Pulse series will be the company’s entry-level device lineup based on the renders and expected specifications.
HMD Pulse:
The HMD Pulse will have a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a hole-punch design, according to OnLeaks. According to renders, the phone will have flat edges and a plain back panel with HMD branding.
HMD Pulse will be equipped with a 13MP primary rear camera and a 5000mAh battery, according to OnLeaks. There is no word on the exact processor details of the device, but it is believed to be powered by an octa-core chipset.
HMD Pulse is expected to be available in three colors: Blue, Black and Pink. As seen in the branding near the camera module, the device is expected to have AI camera features.
At the moment, HMD Pulse doesn’t have any other details. India is expected to launch the device soon.
HMD Pulse Pro:
As for the design, the HMD Pulse Pro has a flat display with thin bezels around the corners and a punch hole on top for the 50MP front camera. It features the volume and power buttons on its right edge. We can expect a 3.5mm jack at the bottom edge, but it’s not visible.
On the rear, we can see that the HMD Pulse Pro offers a textured finish for improved grip. A rectangular camera module with two circular sensors and an LED flash can be found on the left side of the phone. Back panel branding features the company’s logo.
The HMD Pulse Pro has a 6.56-inch IPS 90Hz display with 1480×720 pixels resolution. Unisoc T606 SoC will be coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
According to reports, the HMD Pulse Pro will feature a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. There will also be a 50MP front camera on this HMD phone.
Additionally, the upcoming Pulse Pro is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery. The HMD phone does not mention fast charging support. It might also come with an IP52 rating and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It might weigh around 196 grams.
At launch, the HMD Pulse Pro will have at least 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, and it will cost EUR 179 (roughly Rs 15,900).
