Earlier this month, Motorola introduced the Edge 50 Pro, followed by the Edge 50 Ultra, which includes a better chipset, better cameras, and a larger battery. With the Edge 50 Fusion, we have the third device in the Edge 50 series, and it’s billed as the “balanced” device.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra:
The new Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K 10-bit POLED display with curved edges on either side. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide with 122-degrees FoV. There is another 64MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, 50x Hybrid zoom, Laser AF & LED flash. It is possible to record 4K video at 60 frames per second with all three cameras. There is a whopping 50MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. There is a laser autofocus system in the cameras, as well as a 3-in-1 sensor that assists with exposure, auto white balance, and flicker detection.
The camera has been assisted by artificial intelligence since 2024 is the year of AI. According to the scene, AI automatically adjusts the shutter speed and level of stabilization. The software also handles autofocus tracking. With the new Photo Enhancement Engine, details in the highlights and shadows, clarity, color, and bokeh are optimized.
The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant. UWB tags and phones that have UWB capabilities provide accurate distance and angle readings. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning, as well as Dolby Head Tracking.
All this is packed with a 4500 mAh battery with 125W fast charge support. The device also supports 50W wireless & 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.

The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC/Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage space.
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ LYT-700C sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. In addition, moto AI can adjust shutter speed in the camera app, handle autofocus tracking, and optimize highlights, shadows and colors.
The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box. Color options include Forest Blue, Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue colors.
