It is expected that Samsung will launch its sixth-generation Galaxy Z foldable phones. We’ve already seen leaked renders of the Flip6 and Z Fold6. Now a tipster shares the core specifications of Samsung’s next-generation clamshell phone. There are some interesting upgrades revealed in it.
According to @kro_roe, a tipster on X (former Twitter), the Galaxy Z Flip6 will be available with Snapdragon and Exynos processors. It would be the first time the South Korean brand has launched its foldable phone in two variants, just like its flagship S series. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the Exynos 2400 will be used depending on the market region for Samsung.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 will get a significant RAM upgrade. In addition to 8GB of RAM, it will also come with the 12GB. Regions will determine this as well. It will continue to be offered in storage configurations of 256GB and 512GB.
The tipster confirms an earlier report that the Flip6 will have a 4,000mAh battery. Moreover, Samsung is working on making the external display support a 120Hz refresh rate, which is another great upgrade on the clamshell foldable phone.
This is merely a rumor that should be taken with a grain of salt. This year’s Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to take place in early July.
