On April 3, Motorola is launching the Edge 50 Pro on Flipkart in India. As leaks, rumors, and teasers intensify, now a prototype has reportedly run Geekbench 6. Geekbench has thus indexed it.
With its Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the phone scored 1,097 on the single-core test and 3,114 on the multi-core test. It looks like Motorola’s Edge 50 Pro will not just be a rebranded Chinese X50 Ultra – although Motorola is teasing the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in China. There was 12GB of RAM on the prototype, and Android 14 was running.

The new Motorola Edge 50 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K 10-bit OLED display with curved edges on either side. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 117-degrees FoV. There is another 10MP telephoto sensor with 50x Hybrid zoom, Laser AF & LED flash. There is a whopping 60MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. It includes features such as AI adaptive stabilization, autofocus tracking, AI photo enhancement engine, and tilt mode.
The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
All this is packed with a 4500 mAh battery with 125W fast charge support. The device also supports 50W wireless & 15W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.
