Motorola has begun teasing the arrival of its upcoming smartphone. April 3 is the date for its debut. Lenovo is keeping quiet on the exact name and details of the device. The latest teaser of Motorola’s unnamed phone reveals its processor. Furthermore, it implies that it will be a mid-range product.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor will power the upcoming Motorola phone. In the teaser, Violet is subtly revealed as the color option. It is likely that the upcoming offering will support fast wired or wireless charging. In another teaser, the phone’s color shade and curved display were also confirmed. On the back panel, we also noticed a raised camera island.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is speculated to be the name of the upcoming Motorola phone. As a flagship offering with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, that doesn’t seem to be the case. In addition, the Moto X50 Ultra will be rebranded in China next month. As a result of the latest processor confirmation, we assume the upcoming Motorola phone is the Edge 50 Fusion.
The Edge family from Motorola shares the same design language, but each model has its own specifications. Evan Blass leaked the Edge 50 Fusion’s key specs yesterday. As opposed to the confirmed Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, he mentioned Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. The Edge Fusion is expected to launch as the successor to the Edge 30 Fusion of 2022, which was not launched last year by the Lenovo-owned brand.
