Samsung is rumored to release a third foldable phone. Samsung might be working on a high-end Galaxy Z Fold6 instead of the cheaper version initially rumored, according to a recent leak.
A new report from ETNews, a reliable Korean news source, suggests that Samsung will release a cheaper Galaxy Z Fold, not its more expensive Ultra model. This budget-friendly model might be called the Galaxy Z Fold6 FE, according to tipster Tech Reve.
In Samsung’s product portfolio, “FE” stands for “Fan Edition”. In exchange for a lower price point, FE edition devices usually offer flagship experiences with some compromises.
According to an ETNews report, the Galaxy Z Fold FE may not support the S-Pen stylus. According to last month’s rumors, the Ultra Fold 6 may have stylus support while the regular Fold 6 may not.
There is no doubt that Samsung is making a third foldable device in its factory, whether it be the Ultra or the affordable FE. According to previous reports, this device was internally coded as “Q6A.”
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 at an Unpacked event in the third quarter. At the same event, Samsung may also unveil its third foldable device.
It’s still too early to tell exactly what Samsung’s foldable phone will look like, though it has already surfaced online with renders of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6.
