Even though the Galaxy S25 is likely to launch a year from now, rumors are already swirling online. Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chip may be exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series, according to one rumor. It is unlikely, however, that this scenario will occur.
In 2025, Samsung Galaxy S-series smartphones may only use Exynos chipsets, according to a new rumor from tipster Connor. Samsung’s Galaxy Z series smartphones are rumored to use Snapdragon processors exclusively, but the Galaxy A series might use a mix of MediaTek and Exynos chips.
In spite of this, this rumor appears to be unlikely. Beginning with the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung will use Snapdragon SoCs in its Galaxy flagship smartphones. Samsung S-series devices feature customized “for Galaxy” chips as a result.
As a result of this agreement, it is reasonable to expect a few more generations of Galaxy S series and Galaxy Z series smartphones to use high-end Snapdragon processors in the future.
Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chip competes well with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, however, some Galaxy S25 models are expected to include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip.
Exynos 2500 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chips, as well as the Galaxy S25 phones, are still in development. It’s too early to conclude the final product’s specifications since information is subject to change.
