Xiaomi has officially launched HyperOS in India as expected. A timeline has also been released for the company’s smartphones and tablets.
HyperOS connects personal devices, vehicles, and smart homes seamlessly. Its five core pillars are System Level Optimization, Interconnectivity, Active Intelligence, Privacy & Security, and Open Platform. In addition to reducing response, message, and task-switching delays, HyperOS also offers enhanced CPU load assessments and improved scheduling latency. Additionally, it improves I/O performance and OTA updates and reduces system storage requirements.
As part of its Alive Design Philosophy, HyperOS features customizable lock screens, a revamped Control Centre, a redesigned media player widget, system icons, and UI experiences. It includes an upgraded Floating Window and a new Workstation mode for tablets, in addition to supporting a wide range of languages and glyphs in its system font, MiSans.
Among HyperOS’ interconnectivity features are Home Screen+, a shared clipboard, and a notes app. With Xiaomi Smart Hub, proactive device collaboration, comprehensive security measures, and a unified smart ecosystem, it leverages the world’s largest consumer IoT platform to connect various devices.
