It is reported that Xiaomi is working on a series of flagship tablets called the Pad 7. As opposed to the Pad 7, which will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the Pad 7 Pro will have the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The model numbers of the two tablets have not been revealed in any of the leaks surrounding them.
The 3C regulatory body of China recently approved a Xiaomi tablet bearing the model number 24018RPACC. There is no information about the tablet’s marketing name in the listing, only that it supports fast charging. Thus, it is unclear whether it belongs to the Pad 7 lineup or is the last addition to the Pad 6 line. Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has apparently shared details about the Xiaomi 24018RPACC tablet’s chipset and launch date.
According to the tipster, a large tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is about to launch. The device will be connected to other devices of the company.
The device could be the Xiaomi 24018RPACC tablet, which runs HyperOS. The tablet will be launched in China by the end of February, he said. It is unclear whether this will be a Pad 6 or a Pad 7 series device since the leaker did not mention its name.
Additionally, other tablets featuring OLED panels and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are on the way, according to the tipster. It seems he is referring to the Pad 7 lineup here. Reports indicate that the Pad 7 series and Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be unveiled in April.
