The TENAA regulatory body approved Samsung’s SM-C5560 smartphone last week. When the device launches in China, speculation suggests its name will be Galaxy Y55. In one of the first TENAA certifications, details regarding the phone’s design were withheld. Images of the device have now been added to the listing. Additionally, China’s 3C certification platform has approved the purported Y55, revealing more information about the device.
Design:
According to TENAA, the Samsung SM-C5560 has a minimalist design. Despite not explicitly revealing the presence of a punch-hole or a waterdrop notch, the smartphone appears straightforward. There is a triple camera setup on the back, with individual sensors arranged vertically and an LED flash. Power and volume keys are located on the right edge of the phone. It has an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
Based on the listing, it appears the device is capable of fast charging up to 45W with the EP-TA200 power brick. It appears, however, that the charger will not be included in the retail package.

Galaxy Y55 is expected to include a 6.67-inch HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display’s refresh rate remains unclear as of now. It is expected to come pre-installed with Android 14 and the One UI overlay, as a newly unveiled device.
Two RAM options will be available for the smartphone: 8 GB and 12 GB, both powered by a 2GHz unspecified chipset. There will be storage variants of 128 GB and 256 GB, as well as a microSD card slot for additional storage. According to the TENAA listing, the SM-C5560 battery has a rated capacity of 4,855mAh; a typical value is around 5,000mAh. We expect to learn more about its fast-charging capabilities soon.
The alleged Galaxy Y55 has a 13-megapixel front camera and a triple-camera setup at the back with 50-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 2-megapixel sensors. According to the certification, the Y55 will have dimensions of 210.942 x 124.74 x 8mm and weigh 322 grams. There may be an error in the height, width, and weight details in the certification.
The alleged Galaxy Y55 may launch later this month in China after receiving an important certification.
