In advance of CES 2024, Acer announced seven new models in its Swift and Aspire series of thin and light laptops. Thanks to Intel Core Ultra processors with AI Boost and Intel Arc GPUs, the new models focus more on AI performance.

Dedicated Copilot buttons are included on all models, giving users instant access to the Microsoft Copilot AI service.

Acer Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14:

Acer Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 feature vivid, color-rich OLED displays with 500-nit peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. With the former, you get a 3.2K OLED display running at 120Hz, whereas with the latter, you get a 2.8K OLED display running at 90Hz. In addition, WUXGA touchscreen displays are available for pen and touch input.

These laptops feature a light aluminum chassis with a 180-degree hinge, an OceanGlass touchpad with 44% more scrolling space, and a multi-control lighting touchpad on certain models.

These ‘Evo Certified’ models from Acer promise 45% more performance than last-generation models thanks to Intel Core Ultra 9 Processors with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and Intel Arc GPU. For the 14-inch laptop, the battery life is expected to last up to 12.5 hours, and for the 16-inch laptop, up to 10.5 hours.

Starting in March, the Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-72/T) will be available in North America and EMEA for USD 1,256 (roughly Rs. 1,04,390).

As of March, the Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-73/T) will be available in North America for USD 749.99 (Rs. 62,310 approx).

Acer Swift X 14:

Swift X is distinguished by a dedicated GPU from NVIDIA. It is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with MUX switch and new Intel Core Ultra H-Series processors. Additionally, it features Studio Drivers, exclusive AI tools, and DLSS 3.5 with AI-powered Ray Reconstruction.

To keep the laptop cool, it has a large fan, dual D6 copper heat pipes, and a dedicated air inlet keyboard. A Calman-verified 14.5-inch 2.8K 120Hz OLED display gives this device impressive color accuracy.

The laptop also supports up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD, dual USB Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a MicroSD card reader, as well as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth LE audio.

Starting in February, the Acer Swift X 14 (SFX14-72G) will cost USD 1,399.99 in North America (Rs. 1,16,315 approx. ).

Acer Aspire Vero 16:

With an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with Intel AI Boost, Aspire Vero 16 is marketed as an ‘AI PC’. Throughout the lifecycle of the product, Acer aims to achieve carbon neutrality while minimizing its carbon footprint.

Featuring a smooth surface and a tactile chassis, it contains no volatile organic compounds, paint, or additives. The material is made with 60% PCR material, which reduces CO2 emissions.

Aspire Vero 16 features a 16-inch WQXGA display (2560 x 1600) with a 16:10 aspect ratio. A WUXGA touchscreen is also available. Connectivity options include Bluetooth LE Audio, two USB Type-C ports (Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4), and HDMI 2.1.

The battery life is claimed to be up to 10.5 hours on a single charge. It also comes with a 1440p QHD webcam with Acer’s AI-assisted Purified Voice. There is also up to 16 GB of RAM and dual PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage up to 2TB.

It will be available in North America in April for USD 749.99 (approximately Rs. 62,310), and in EMEA in March for EUR 1,199 (approximately USD 1,311 / Rs. 1,08,950).
