TENAA certified Realme RMX3841 and RMX3843 yesterday, and we saw photos of them. The listings were updated with the full specs sheets today, basically confirming they are indeed the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+.

Both devices have almost identical specifications. As a result of the different chipsets, the model with lower specs (in comparison) is probably the Realme 12 Pro, while the model with higher specs is probably the Realme 12 Pro+.

Design:

It is rumored that the device will launch by the end of January. Tipster DCS has revealed the renders of the Realme 12 Pro ahead of its launch.

According to the leaked images, the upcoming Realme 12 Pro will feature a curved display with minimal bezels and a central punch hole. A circular camera module with four cutouts and an LED flash is located on the rear panel.

There will be three color variants of the Realme 12 Pro: Black, Orange, and White. It is noteworthy that the Orange and White options seem reminiscent of those seen in the Realme 11 series, suggesting a continuation of the vegan leather finish. The Black variant, however, will likely have a glass back.

Specs:

According to the TENAA listings, both Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ have curved-edge AMOLED panels with Full HD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, 10-bit colors, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. There is no mention of a 120Hz refresh rate in the listings, but both devices are expected to support it.

On the Realme 12 Pro, an octa-core processor is running at 2.2GHz, while the 12 Pro+ has an octa-core processor running at 2.4GHz. According to a recent report, the latter appears to be equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip whereas the 12 Pro+ might come with SD 7 Gen 3 SoC. It is expected that both devices will be available in RAM variants of 6 GB, 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB, as well as storage variants of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

In addition to Realme UI 5, Android 14 is expected to be used on the Realme 12 Pro series. The batteries in both devices are rated at 5,000mAh. There is no information about the fast charging capabilities of either phone at this time. The Realme 11 Pro series and the 12 Pro lineup will likely come with up to 100W charging capabilities.

Realme 12 Pro may have a 16-megapixel front camera. Meanwhile, the 12 Pro+ may feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

There are three cameras on the back of both phones, a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The 12 Pro is equipped with a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, while the 12 Pro+ is equipped with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
