The India launch date for Vivo’s X100 series of flagship smartphones has been confirmed following earlier teasers. On January 4, 2024, Vivo will launch the X100 series in India. It shared this news on its social media accounts, revealing that the launch event will be held at noon Indian Standard Time (IST).
Vivo X100:
The Vivo X100 will measure 8.5mm thick and weighs around 206g. The new Vivo X100 will sport a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260p. It comes with a 120Hz refresh and 3000 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the latest Dimensity 9300 SoC coupled with 16GB/12GB LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options.
The new Vivo X100 features a new 50MP main 1/ 1.49″ IMX920 VCS bionic with an aperture of f/1.57 coupled with a 64MP telephoto sensor with f/2.57 aperture that gets 3x optical zoom & 100x digital zoom support. Lastly, there is a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture with telephoto macro, Zeiss T* coating, ZEISS optics, and LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, NAVIC, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port. The Vivo X100 series does feature an in-display fingerprint scanner & IR Blaster.
Vivo X100 comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 OS with OriginOS 4 on top.
