According to the latest official teaser, the Nothing Phone (2a) is the next device from the company, and its unveiling is just around the corner. We still don’t know much about the device and its design. A recent leak has revealed that the phone will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset and a three-glyph design on its back.

A new leak shows a device in the wild in a few photos. This is a PVT unit, or a Production Validation Test, which is intended to validate and verify that the manufacturing processes are working properly and that the devices meet the required specifications. Such early units typically come in large external cases designed specifically to hide their design, as is the case here.

Despite this, we can see the horizontal camera arrangement on the back, which is unique for a Nothing Phone. Assume the rest of the information from the source is reliable.

There is a possibility that the Nothing Phone (2a) will have a 6.7-inch, 120Hz OLED display, the aforementioned Dimensity 7200 chipset, and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (other memory variants may also be available). As with the Nothing Phone 2, there are two 50MP rear cameras, but a 16MP selfie camera. Furthermore, Nothing OS 2.5 and Android 14 appear to come pre-installed on the phone. Take some of these details with a grain of salt, though, since the phone’s About screen also lists 1,000 mAh worth of battery capacity.

It is also claimed that a $400 (Rs.33,300/-) MSRP Nothing Phone (2a) will be unveiled at MWC (February 2024).
