Vivo will unveil the S18 Series on December 14 in China, including the S18, S18e, and S18 Pro. Details about the specifications and design of the new smartphone series have already been teased multiple times. It is highly anticipated that the premium mid-range series will feature competitive specifications. Vivo S18 Pro and Vivio S19 teasers reveal some camera specifications.
According to the teaser posters, both the Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro will feature a 50MP front camera with soft dual-LED flash. Vivo S18 Pro features a 50MP VCS Sony IMX920 lens with Optical Image Stabilization. Similar to the Vivo X90s, the Samsung JN1 Ultra-wide sensor will measure 50MP, and the IMX663 telephoto lens will measure 12MP. There will be an adjustable Aura LED light on the Pro variant.
With the Vivo S18 series, the Blue Heart AI model will enhance the photography experience along with the outstanding hardware. Using six billion parameters, the model evaluates photos and ensures excellent results.
Vivo S18 Pro:
The new Vivo S18 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rates. The Vivo S18 Pro with Dimensity 9200+ SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space.
Vivo S18 Pro features a 50MP main IMX920 sensor with an OIS coupled with a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor. There is a 12MP IMX663 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom having an aperture of f/1.98. On the front, it features a massive 50MP selfie shooter.
According to Vivo, the S18 series is equipped with Vivo’s Blue Heart AI model, which can enhance portrait photography.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, and VoLTE support, Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 14 with OriginOS 4.0 on top. It measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 188g. The device also gets NFC and in-display fingerprint support.
