Xiaomi finally launches its first Android One device with Mi A1 in India which is none other than the earlier in July launched Mi 5X.Xiaomi Mi A1 for 4GB RAM+64GB storage version is priced at Rs.14,999/- and will go on sale on Flipkart starting from Sept 12 at 12:00 PM and will also available via popular Offline stores.The launch offers include 5% discount if you own Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card and Airtel user will get extra 200GB of 4G data.The device will be available in three colors with Black, Gold, and Pink.Initially, the device will be available only in Black and Gold color options.The Xiaomi A1 will be launched Globally in the following countries.
Xiaomi Mi A1 has the exactly the same spec what Mi 5X offers the only change is with the software.Now with Xiaomi Mi A1 will come with stock Android OS running on Android 7.1.2 without any customisation whereas Mi 5X comes with MIUI 9 on top.Xiaomi is also promising Android O update by end of 2017 and will also be the first Android device to get the next iteration of Android with Android P.
Xiaomi Mi A1 is completely built out of metal unibody and has rounded edges with antenna bands on all the corners of the device.The phone is just 7.3 mm thick and weighs 165 grams. Xiaomi Mi A1 sports 5.5 inches 1080p display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. It is powered b y SD625 chip coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 128GB.
