In line with the past couple of launches, the OnePlus 12 will make its global debut in China. We’re now getting some clarity on when that will be.

As part of the 10-year anniversary celebration, OnePlus will also announce the OnePlus 12 in China at an event on December 4. It appeared likely that the global launch would follow a month later, in January 2024.

That’s accurate, and the OnePlus 12 will launch in January, according to Max Jambor.

OnePlus 12 will make its global debut in “early” January, but Jambor has since clarified that it will not be “early.” Samsung is currently planning to launch its Galaxy S24 series in mid-January, which puts the device up against some stiff competition.

OnePlus 12 “series” will be unveiled at the launch, implying more than one device. It’s unclear what that device will be, but it’s likely to be a sequel to the OnePlus 11R, an exclusive to India and ongoing series.

In the past, OnePlus said it was done with “Pro” phones, but it also said it was done forcing Facebook apps on users’ phones, which is no longer the case.

Anyhow, the OnePlus 12 looks promising with its new cameras, wireless charging, and more.
