There are rumors pointing to the launch of the OnePlus Ace 3 in January of next year, part of the OnePlus Ace series of premium smartphones. The OnePlus Ace 3 will debut in China early next year. OnePlus is rumored to be rebranding Ace models for international markets under the name OnePlus 12R.
Digital Chat Station, who previously leaked some key specs of the upcoming Ace 3, has now shared additional details on this series. It is believed that the OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a metal frame reminiscent of the matte aluminum alloy frame found on the Apple Watch, which indicates premium build quality. In addition, the device will feature a 1.5K curved display and a stylish gunmetal grey glass body.
Additionally, DCS revealed the Ace 3 will use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, positioning it as a high-end mid-range smartphone. The device is expected to have a substantial 5500mAh battery and support 100W fast charging, promising excellent battery life and rapid charging.
A 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch IMX890 sensor, a 32MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP wide-angle lens will be available for photography enthusiasts. It is also expected to feature a 6.74-inch LTPO 120Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
