Vivo has finally confirmed the launch date for its X100 series. On Nov. 13, the brand will announce the photography-focused flagships, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, at 7 p.m. (local time). With the Vivo X100 series, the Vivo Watch 3 will also be unveiled.
MediaTek’s launch event on Nov. 6 will feature the Dimensity 9300, which will be featured in Vivo’s X100 series. X100 has been benchmarked on AnTuTu and received a score of 2,249,858. It’s the first smartphone with LPDDRT5 RAM, which promises a 13 percent improvement over LPDDR5x RAM, which is on most recent flagships.
AnTuTu scores for upcoming Snapdragon 8 flagships, such as the Realme GT 5 Pro, OnePlus 12, and Xiaomi 14 (already launched), were 2,229,696, 2,110,808, and 1,992,387 points, respectively. X100 Pro+ is expected to debut in Q1 2024 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
All Vivo X100s come preloaded with the all-new OriginOS 4-based Android 14. The image below shows the Vivo X100’s rear design. There’s also a Zeiss-certified Vario-APO-Sonnar lens on the X100 series, which is designed for periscope telephotos.
Vivo Watch 3:
Also launching with the X100 series is the Vivo Watch 3. The brand confirmed it will run on the newly developed Blue OS, which will come with its own app store and offer unlimited watch faces. It’s the world’s first operating system written in Rust. Furthermore, Blue OS is the first operating system to use Rust for its system framework.
