Renders of the upcoming Redmi 13C surfaced online last week. The pictures showed the design and colors of the smartphone.
The handset was allegedly spotted in online listings and the MIUI codebase a few days later. A few details about this product were revealed in these listings.
Xiaomiui says it found the forthcoming Redmi 13C in the IMEI database. There is no mention of the device’s name in the listings. Based on these listings, the product will arrive with three different model numbers, one for each region. The model numbers are 23124RN87C – China, 23124RN87G – Global & 23124RN87I – India.
The phone has a codename of ‘air’ and an internal model number of ‘C3V’, according to the MIUI codebase. MIUI 14 based on Android 13 will be powered by a MediaTek chipset.
The smartphone might go official as early as December based on the first four digits of its model number. China is expected to release it first, followed by other markets.
According to the renders, the handset will have a flat frame. There will be a dewdrop notched display on the front and a triple camera setup on the back.
There will be a 50MP sensor on the main camera. In addition, the camera layout will be similar to that of the Xiaomi 13 series.
Lastly, the Redmi 13C will be available in black, blue, and light green.
