Vivo has teased the impending launch of the V29 series smartphones in India in a recent teaser. Just a month ago, the company introduced the V29, the latest addition to its popular V series.
The teaser simply mentions “coming soon” for the V29 series. FoneArena also spotted the phrase “Stay Tuned till We Meet on October 4”, which indicates an October 4 launch in India.
In the teaser, we get a glimpse of the key features of the V29 series. There will be three color options for the device: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. Color Changing Glass is featured in the Majestic Red edition, and 3D Particle Technology is featured in the Himalayan Blue version.
With an Aura Light LED on the back, the V29 series is all about taking great photos as it adjusts the intensity of the light based on the surroundings to deliver the best portrait shots. Vivo is also adding an Indian wedding-style portrait mode to the devices.
Additionally, Vivo has confirmed that the V29 Pro will feature the first-ever 2x pro portrait camera with a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor for flawless edge detection and stunning background bokeh. According to the company, the V29 Pro will weigh 188g.
In light of the fact that the vivo S17 was launched as the V29 for global markets, the S17 Pro should also be launched as the V29 Pro. The Pro model is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and comes with a 50MP rear camera with a Sony IMX766V sensor and a 12MP 2x telephoto portrait camera.
