Now, the focus shifts to the upcoming Google Pixel launch event and Microsoft’s Surface launch event. It’s time for a detailed leak about the next-gen Surface products since we already know a lot about the Pixel 8 series.
Another leak of Microsoft Surface information comes from Roland Quandt of WinFuture.de, who previously shared important details. More details are included in the latest report, including high-quality product renders, prices, and expected availability dates.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2:
Surface Laptop Studio 2 is likely to feature a 14.4-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 2400 x 1600 pixels. There will be a 120Hz refresh rate, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and touchscreen input support on the panel. It will be powered by Intel Raptor Lake H-series processors. There will be Core i7-13700H and Core i7-13800H configuration models, according to the report. In spite of their similarities, these two processors have very different clock speeds.
There will be options for 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB LPDDR5X RAM in the next-generation Laptop Studio. For the first time, Microsoft is offering 64GB RAM, as it has previously only offered 32GB. The GeForce RTX 4050 GPU will have 6GB DDR6 memory, and the GeForce RTX 4060 GPU will have 8GB DDR6 memory.
The company will also offer a variant with Iris Xe integrated graphics for those who do not want a dedicated GPU. It is important to note that Microsoft is discontinuing the base model with a Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM, and 256GB SSD storage. It is reported that the Surface Laptop Studio 2 will come with 512GB of SSD storage as its base storage. Depending on the market, it will go up to 1TB or 2TB of SSD storage.
There will be a full-size USB Type-A port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 4.0 Type-C port, and a microSD card slot. It is said to have a 58Wh battery, Bluetooth 5.x, and WiFi 6.
Pricing:
For the base model with integrated graphics, the Surface Laptop Studio 2 is expected to cost 2249 Euros (Rs.1,99,500/-). Those with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and RTX 4050 GPU will cost 2,729 Euros (Rs.2,42,200/-), while those with 32GB RAM, 1TB storage, and RTX 4060 GPU will cost 3,199 Euros (Rs.2,84,000/-). It is estimated that the high-end variant with 64GB RAM will cost around 3,700 Euros (Rs.3,28,500/-). Starting October 3, it will be available in Europe.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3:
According to reports, the Surface Laptop Go 3 will have the same 12.45-inch PixelSense touchscreen display with a 3:2 aspect ratio as its predecessor. It will be powered by Intel’s Alder Lake U-series processors, based on the Core i5-1235U chipset clocked at 4.4GHz. The base variant will have 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage.
Likewise, the Laptop Go 3’s battery capacity and weight will remain the same. The base variant will cost 899 Euros (Rs.79,800/-) and sales will begin in October.
