There is a good chance that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be unveiled in January or February of next year. The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera is one of its biggest highlights. According to new rumors, the flagship will retain the 200MP camera from the S23 Ultra.
It is reported that the S24 Ultra will use a 200MP ISOCELL HP2SX camera sensor rather than the old sensor. It can shoot 8K videos at 30 frames per second, which is superior to the previous sensor. Aside from Super Quad Phase Detection autofocus, the camera offers various modes for capturing photos with a resolution of 12MP or 50MP. It boasts a 1/1.3-inch optical format and a 0.6m pixel size, as revealed by tipster Ice Universe.
In addition to the main camera, the device will feature an enhanced telephoto lens with a 50MP resolution and a 3x optical zoom. With a larger sensor and in-sensor cropping, this is expected to deliver 5x optical quality zoom. It’s also rumored to keep its 12MP selfie, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP telephoto cameras.
With a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 12GB, and 16GB of RAM, the Galaxy S24 Ultra should be a powerhouse. The storage options will range from 256GB to 1TB. A 2TB version is also in the works.
