A mega event was held by Xiaomi in China today. Among the new products announced by the brand are a foldable phone, a smartphone, a tablet, and a wearable device. Xiaomi introduced a new addition to the Pad 6 series launched in China in June this year. Xiaomi’s latest offering is called the Pad 6 Max. In addition to a standard and pro model, this is the highest variant in the Pad 6 lineup.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Max:
The new Xiaomi Pad 6 Max comes with a premium metal unibody with thicker bezels protecting the display on the front. Sadly, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will follow the traditional tablet design which we saw in the past.
On the back, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will feature single rear cameras with LED flash respectively. Xiaomi Pad 6 Max comes in Black and Silver. The tablet measures 6.51 mm thick and weighs 490g respectively.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will sport a massive 14-inch 2.8K IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2560 x 1600p. It also supports HDR10, 10bit, and P3 color gamuts. Both the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max comes with stylus support with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It also gets Dolby Vision with Eye Protection Mode.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage. A heat dissipation system of 15839mm is also included for extended usage.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max comes with a single 13MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It supports 4K video recording at 30fps. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max comes with a 20MP main selfie shooter along with a secondary 3D ToF sensor. Also, when an app tries to access sensitive data like a camera, a permission indicator light will flash red to help the user decide whether to grant permission.
The connectivity option includes Wifi 6.0, A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6e, IR Balster, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 13 with the latest MIUI 14 on top. There are eight speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos on the audio front. Immersive entertainment is provided by both the display and audio.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max packs a 10,000mAh battery with 67W fast charge & 33W reverse charge support. A Surge G1 protection chip extends battery life, ensures safety, and improves battery life.
