Realme is reportedly launching the upcoming GT Neo6 as the GT5 in international markets (so the Neo6 name would only be used in China). It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. After that, the brand will introduce the GT5 Pro to international markets at the end of the year, which will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

The Weibo account Digital Chat Station / Digital Chatter has leaked some more details today about the GT5 Pro in China.

This time around, the GT5 Pro is said to feature a periscope zoom camera with a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B sensor and a 3x optical zoom. Periscopes typically go with 5x or 10x optical zoom, but that’s the rumor for now. Do take it with a grain of salt.

As for the main camera, it will utilize a Sony IMX9 series 1/1.4″ sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The OnePlus 12 is rumored to use the same set of cameras, but with Hasselblad improvements, which the Realme will not have. Since Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme are very close – and are becoming even closer by the day – and share many components, this is not surprising.

So far, that is all we know about the Realme GT5 Pro.
