A new laptop has been launched by India’s largest telecom service provider, Jio. In terms of specifications, the new JioBook (2023) is an affordable laptop that is suitable for students. The machine features an octa-core MediaTek MT 8788 processor. The JioBook 4G is equipped with an embedded Jio SIM card, dual-band Wi-Fi, and an HDMI mini port. The laptop has a 5000mAh battery that should last you up to eight hours.
With its plastic construction and low price, the JioBook clearly qualifies as a budget laptop. This laptop comes in a blue color similar to the logo of the brand. With a resolution of 768 x 1,366 pixels, it has an 11.6-inch HD display. There is an inbuilt 4G SIM card on the laptop, which should enable you to make and receive calls as well as access the Internet.
Powered by a MediaTek MT8788 octa-core processor, it should provide an improvement over last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. It is equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Using a microSD card, you can expand this laptop’s storage up to 256GB.
The JioBook (2023) features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, an HDMI mini port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is equipped with dual stereo speakers and a 2MP web camera. With a 5,000mAh battery, Jio claims that the device can last up to eight hours on a single charge.
Pricing:
JioBook (2023) is available in India for Rs. 16,499. A single color option is available for the laptop from Jio. Pre-orders are available on Amazon and Reliance Digital, with the sale beginning on August 5.
