In India and other markets, Vivo may launch the V29 series in the near future. In India, the company recently launched the V27 series, which includes the V27 Pro 5G as its most premium smartphone. It is possible that Vivo will launch the V29 and V29 Pro 5G series soon. It has not been confirmed yet when the V29 series will launch. Geekbench has spotted the V29 Pro on its website, suggesting the launch is imminent.
Geekbench 4 has spotted the V29 Pro with the model number V2251 ahead of its launch. The listing states that the phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC with a 3.1GHz peak clock speed. The GPU is a Mali-G610. It is possible that the phone will feature the Ultra variant of the SoC. Currently, we cannot be certain about the same.
Geekbench lists the V29 Pro with 12GB of RAM. There will be at least 256GB of storage on the phone when it launches. It also confirms that the phone runs Android 13 out of the box. Funtouch OS 13 is likely to run on top of Android. In Geekbench 4’s single-core and multi-core tests, the V29 Pro scored 4394 and 14677.
There have been some leaks about the phone in the past. According to reports, the V29 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an under-display fingerprint scanner. It is likely that the screen will be curved and will support 120Hz refresh rates.
