Realme launched the Realme Pad tablet in India in September 2021. Realme did not launch a successor in 2022, but a new tablet could be coming to Indian markets this year.

TheTechOutlook reports that the alleged Realme Pad 2 has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards certification website. Two model numbers have been assigned to the tablet: RMP2204 and RMP2205. Two versions of the device will be available in India, indicating that there will be two models. Furthermore, both of these model numbers have also been listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification website as supporting Bluetooth version 5.3.

As for the Realme Pad 2, there is no other information available. It will have a better display, a larger battery, and an upgraded chipset. The price of the upcoming tablet is yet to be determined.

Realme Pad:

This tablet features a 10.4″ IPS LCD with a 2000×1200 pixel resolution and a slim body that measures just 6.9mm. It weighs over 440g in weight.

The MediaTek Helio G80 chipset powers the Realme Pad, along with 3/4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage and a microSD card slot. Both sides of the tablet have 8MP HD cameras. The device has a 7,100mAh battery with 18W charging.

Adaptive surround sound is supported by four speakers situated in four corners. The connectivity option includes 4G LTE (optional), Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, & USB Type-C port.

A bigger screen is better used by Realme Pad’s updated custom UI that runs on top of Android 11 and Realme UI for Pad.

With a two-tone finish on the back, the Realme Pad comes in two different colors: Real Gold and Real Grey.
