The Galaxy Tab S9 series is expected to be launched soon by Samsung. Later this year, the company may unveil three Galaxy Tab S9 devices. On top of the Tab S9 will be the Tab S9+ and the Tab S9 Ultra. No details have been revealed about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series. At Unpacked next month, the Galaxy Tab S9 series is likely to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5. Geekbench has spotted the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra ahead of its launch.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is a premium Android tablet aimed at taking on Apple’s iPad Pro. The launch is expected to take place next month. Online leaks have revealed the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra’s processor, RAM, and software specifications. According to Geekbench, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will feature a Qualcomm SoC codenamed Kalama, which has the model number SM-X910. With a peak clock speed of 3.36GHz for its prime core, the SoC has four performance cores with 2.8GHz speeds. 2.02GHz is the clock speed of the three efficiency cores. There is a similarity between the clock speeds and those of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for Galaxy, which is found in the Galaxy S23 series.
There will be the same SoC in the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra as in the flagship Galaxy S23 series. According to the Geekbench listing, the Android tablet will have at least 12GB of RAM. Samsung is expected to launch the tablet with at least 256GB or 512GB of storage. On Geekbench, the Wi-Fi-only variant is listed. It is likely that the device will be unveiled alongside a 5G variant.
Additionally, the listing confirms that the tablet will run Android 13 out of the box. On top of Android, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will feature One UI 5.1.
Previous leaks have also revealed some details about the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. A design render of Samsung’s flagship tablet was exclusively revealed by MySmartPrice. A design render of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra shows two circular cutouts for the rear camera setup. There is also a vertical magnetic strip below the camera cutout for the S Pen.
