Exynos 2400 details have already been revealed, but it appears Samsung is also currently working on Exynos 2300. Samsung is reportedly planning to launch the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone later this year, according to @Tech_Reve. According to reports, the device will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 processor, not Qualcomm’s Snapdragon

We last heard about the Exynos 2300’s 9-core CPU setup, which featured a Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.09 GHz, four Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.65 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.1 GHz. The SM-S919O model number appears on GeekBench with a very similar 1+4+4 chip. Although the reported CPU frequencies don’t match the expected ones, that’s pretty normal for pre-production hardware. Considering the Exynos 2200 uses a 1+3+4 configuration, while the Exynos 2400 is expected to feature a 1+2+3+4 configuration with a Cortex-X4.

We only know that the GPU of the alleged Exynos 2300 will be based on AMD’s RDNA2 architecture. The rest is speculation, but since we’re already speculating, we can hope to see this chip instead of the rumored Exynos 2200 inside the Galaxy S23 FE. We will have to wait and see.

Firmware Testing begins:

Samsung has begun software development for the European version of the Galaxy S23 Fan Edition, according to GalaxyClub.nl. There had been speculation regarding the Galaxy S23 FE for some time, but recent reports confirm its existence and reveal some of its specifications. According to the new report, Samsung is currently testing its firmware, which further suggests that the device will be launched soon.

Samsung has started testing firmware for SM-S711B, a European edition of the S23 FE. According to the publication, no firmware has yet been released for its US and South Korean variants.

With Samsung just starting to test the S23 FE’s firmware, it appears that it will be some time before the device is available on the market. Samsung has been testing its Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 firmware since the end of the previous year. These devices are expected to be unveiled by the end of July. It seems that the Galaxy S23 FE might not be unveiled until early 2024.
