The HTC U23 and HTC U23 Pro have been launched in Taiwan. Currently, these HTC phones are the most powerful on the market thanks to their Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The U23 and U23 Pro specifications, features, and prices are listed below.
HTC U23 & HTC U23 Pro:
HTC U23 and U23 Pro feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel with punch holes. There is an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the screen. Both devices come with side-facing fingerprint scanners for security.
U23 and U23 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipsets. Both devices are optimized for HTC’s metaverse, called the Viverse. It comes preinstalled with Android 13 OS. There is an option to get up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in the U23 series. Both handsets support microSD cards for more storage.
There is a 32MP front-facing camera on both smartphones. HTC U23 has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor on the back. On the back of the U23 Pro, there’s an OIS-enabled 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Pricing:
Currently, HTC U23 and U23 Pro are only available in Taiwan. There’s no word on the price yet. It’s available in blue and violet. In Taiwan, the U23 Pro is available in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for TWD 16,990 (~$552) and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for TWD 17,990 (~$585). There’s a black and white Pro model. We don’t know if HTC U23 and U23 Pro will be available outside Taiwan.
