The Predator and Swift lineups from Acer have been updated with a number of new laptops. The Predator series is Acer’s high-performance gaming lineup, designed for hardcore gamers, while the Swift series is its premium thin-and-light lineup, designed for those looking for sleek, stylish, powerful machines that don’t compromise on portability.
Acer Predator Triton 17 X
Acer’s Predator Triton X laptop is the company’s most powerful laptop ever. It was made possible by combining 13th Gen Intel Core processors with Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. This laptop comes with an Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. In addition, it has up to 64GB of DDR5 5600Hz RAM and 4TB of PCIe NVMe SSD.
The display measures 17 inches and will be available in two configurations. The display features a WQXGA mini LED (AmLED) with a refresh rate of 250Hz and a peak brightness of over 1000 nits.
A triple-fan system, including two custom-engineered 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, provides state-of-the-art thermal cooling for the laptops. A fingerprint reader, per-key RGB, and a glass touchpad are also included. Additionally, it features a DTS:X Ultra surround sound system with six speakers. In terms of connectivity, the device is equipped with Intel Killer E3100G+ Ethernet and Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1690i. For super-fast wired connectivity, there is also a Thunderbolt 4 port.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16
Gamers can now obtain a high-performance laptop at a much lower price with the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16. With up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, the laptop is equipped with 13th Gen Intel Core HX processors. This series also comes with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe NVMe SSD, as well as a range of screen options including WQXGA and WUXGA. In addition to Nvidia Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC, both offer 165Hz refresh rates.
Acer Predator Triton 14
Predator Triton 14 is designed to be a portable gaming laptop. This laptop is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H processor with either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU or an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. With a refresh rate of 350Hz, the compact 14-inch screen comes with a WQXGA Mini LED display.
Acer Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition
The Predator Helios 3D 15 gaming laptop was also updated by Acer. This laptop is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 GPU. Additionally, it has 32GB of DDR5 RAM.
Obviously, the display is the highlight of this laptop. Using SpatialLabs’ eye-tracking software, stereoscopic 3D display, and real-time scene rendering technology, the laptops provide 3D visuals without the need for glasses. Over 70 different titles are available in 3D.
Acer Swift X 16
Acer Swift X 16 weighs 1.9kg and measures 17.9mm thick. Compared to its predecessor, the laptop also offers a much larger touchpad with 33 percent more scrolling space.
There is a 16-inch 3.2K OLED panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 120Hz on the laptop. For greater color accuracy, this display covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Certifications by VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe.
The laptop is available with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7940H processor with Radeon 780M graphics. If the user wishes to perform more graphically intensive tasks, they can also get a dedicated GPU such as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050. Up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD are available with the laptop.
