Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE in the last quarter of 2023, according to a report last week. Another report today confirms this as well as mentions the expected price.
For months, we have heard conflicting details about the successor to the Galaxy S21 FE. The price of this handset is, however, the first time we’ve heard about it.
According to Maeil Business (via SamMobile), Samsung will reintroduce the Exynos 2200 chipset inside the Galaxy S23 FE. The Galaxy S22 series sold in Europe uses this chip, which is notorious for its poor performance and efficiency.
Several design changes have been made by Samsung to improve the Exynos 2200 yield. Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE will be the first smartphone to feature this chip.
The device is estimated to cost about 800,000 won (about Rs,50,100/-). This would make the phone $100 cheaper than the Galaxy S21 FE. If this handset is successful, the company is expected to sell more than 10 million units.
As reported previously, the Galaxy S23 FE will feature a 50MP primary camera. It will, however, have the same 4,500mAh battery with 25W charging support. Lastly, there will be memory variants of 128GB and 256 GB.
