Redmi has finally confirmed the launch date of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo for the Chinese market after weeks of leaks. Below is a poster confirming that the device will be announced in China at 7 p.m. (local time) on March 28. This will be the world’s first phone powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.
In addition to revealing the launch date, the poster shows off the design of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The device’s back panel features a 64-megapixel triple camera unit. It appears to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and volume control on the right side. It features a microphone, an IR blaster, a speaker grille, and a 3.5mm audio jack on its top edge. On its opposite edge, there is a speaker grille, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a SIM card slot.
Further, the brand also showed the frontal look of the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo. From the teaser, we can notice that Redmi Note 12 Turbo will come with almost bezel-less sides than the iPhone 14. Again, the device comes with a flat display with a center punch-hole notch.
Reservations for the Redmi Note 12 Turbo are now available in China ahead of its launch next week. You can reserve the phone for 1 yuan and when you purchase it after its launch, you’ll receive goodies worth 198 yuan.

As per the post on Weibo, the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo will sport 6.7 inches FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be the first smartphone to ship with the latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. The device will arrive with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.
It features triple rear cameras with 50MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will pack a 5500 mAh large battery with 67W fast charge support. It runs on Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 on top.
