Xiaomi recently launched MIUI 14 in India. In addition to announcing the list of eligible devices, POCO has also announced a timeline for when the software update will be rolled out. The Xiaomi sub-brand warns that the timelines may change if any issues arise. Several POCO, Xiaomi, and Redmi phones are already running MIUI 14, but this version is based on Android 12. MIUI 14 will be based on Android 13, so readers should not get confused.
POCO X5 Pro 5G will be the first device to receive MIUI 14-based Android 13 updates. We can expect it to arrive by the end of this month since it will be rolled out in the first quarter of 2023. As many as six POCO devices were released in the second quarter of this year, namely the F4 5G, F3 GT, X3 Pro, M5, M4 5G, and C55. POCO M4 Pro, X4 Pro 5G, and M4 Pro 5G will receive a software update in Q3, 2022, i.e. between July and September.
